Job summary

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting the executive team in maintaining protocols across the facility on-site in Kodiak, Alaska.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• 3 years experience as an RN in a healthcare facility.
• 1 year long-term care or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elder-centered care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Support operational management and quality improvement and infection control.
• Serve on Providence Kodiak Island Long Term Care executive team and support regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to a culture of compassionate, ethical care and core values alignment.
