The role requires RN licensure in Alaska, BLS certification, and leadership experience in a Critical Access Hospital setting, with a focus on collaboration and quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Completed Preceptorship training.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License is required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association is required upon hire.
• 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience with Critical Access Hospital inter-departmental dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for caregivers, physicians, and others for patient transfer or placement.
• Provide leadership and direction on behalf of Administration during assigned shift.
• Promote patient satisfaction through service and leadership, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and optimal resource use.
