Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise all house-wide functions during the designated shift.
• Make decisions regarding patient care and staff management per policies.
• Monitor, evaluate and deliver nursing care to meet patient needs.
• Prioritize clinical rounds and provide necessary staff support.
• Assign nursing staff to clinical areas and coordinate staffing and overtime.
• Lead in emergencies and participate in disaster planning as needed.
• Support attainment of internal and external benchmarks and accreditations.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Oversee admission and discharge processes for efficient patient throughput.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and resource allocation.
• Provide coaching and feedback to improve performance and engagement.
• Serve as liaison between healthcare providers and community support.
