Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – House Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight during assigned shifts. The role coordinates hospital operations, supports nursing staff, and ensures quality patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance.

The House Supervisor will manage staffing and patient flow, respond to emergencies, and serve as a resource for clinical and operational issues across the unit.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS per facility policy.
• Acute care nursing experience with charge/supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staffing, patient placement, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Support nursing staff with clinical decision-making and patient care issues.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Assist with conflict resolution, patient concerns, and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and shift communications.
• Promote quality improvement, patient satisfaction, and safe care delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
