Job summary

Universal Health Services’ River Vista Behavioral Health is seeking an RN House Supervisor to join the Leadership Team. The role oversees the coordination of patient care during shifts, ensures compliance with standards, and supervises nursing staff in a psychiatric hospital setting.

The successful candidate will have a California RN license, CPR and CPI training, and at least 3 years of psychiatric healthcare experience, with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required or equivalent combination of education and experience in psychiatric nursing management; Bachelor's Degree required.
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Currently licensed to practice by the California State Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification and successful completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to ensure delivery of patient care in accordance with standards of care, mental health practice, and hospital policy.
• supervise nursing staff and ensure coordination of admissions, discharges, and transfers during shifts.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and charge nurses to ensure patients receive quality care.
