Job Description

The RN Supervisor oversees the operation of the nursing units and provides clinical supervision to staff across multiple units, ensuring quality resident care through effective teaching and support. This position involves collaboration with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers to address unit problems and administrative decision-making in their absence.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and support to nursing staff.
• Assure quality resident care through staff guidance and training.
• Communicate effectively with the Director of Nursing regarding unit operations.
• Resolve critical issues during off-hours as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure.
• Minimum of 1-year nursing experience in long-term care.
• Supervisory experience across multiple units is preferred.
• BLS certification required through AHA or RQI system.
• CPI certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
