Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required
• Master's degree preferred (Nursing or Health Administration)
• 3+ years progressive nursing leadership
• 1 year critical care/high-acuity experience preferred
• RN licensure with IDFPR (Illinois) required
• BLS CPR/AHA required; ACLS required or within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Exercises independent, real-time house-wide clinical and operational authority.
• Directs shift-based patient flow, staffing, resource allocation and issue resolution.
• Conducts regular clinical rounds to ensure standards of care.
• Manages real-time staffing and resource deployment across units.
• Leads emergency response and safety initiatives and regulatory compliance.
