Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice seeks an experienced RN for the IPU at our Franklin, OH location. This is a full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with potential float to Troy & Middletown IPUs, and a rotating weekend/holiday schedule.

You will provide compassionate end-of-life care, document care using computer systems, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requirements include BSN/ASN, Ohio RN license, 2 years acute care, CHPN preferred with 500 hospice hours to start.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/BSN preferred).
• Active RN license in Ohio without board actions.
• Two years acute care nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification; CHPN preferred and required within 2 years of employment.
• Ability to drive and valid driver's license with good record.
• Computer skills to document services.

What You Should Know About the RN Hospice IPU position:

This is a Full-Time night shift 7pm, 7:30am position at our Dayton Hospice House but could float to our Troy & Middletown Hospice House IPU's as needed; this position has every 3rd weekend rotation and every other holiday rotation

Qualifications of this role:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any board actions.
• Two years acute care nursing experience preferred
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment. (Eligible upon completion of 500 hours in last 12 months of hospice/palliative experience.)CPR Certified
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
• State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
