Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an experienced RN with strong leadership to serve as Director of Nursing / Hospice Executive Director. You will guide clinical quality, operational performance, and team development across a mid‑sized location, ensuring compassionate, compliant care and sustainable census growth.

Ideal candidates bring management experience in hospice or home health, a nursing license, and a BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in good standing with an associate degree required.
• BSN preferred or in progress.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in hospice or home health.
• CPR certification and current licensure to practice nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a mid‑size hospice program with clinical quality oversight.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, interdisciplinary teams, and performance metrics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, patient‑centered care, and census balance.
• Lead human resources, budgeting, community relations and vendor management.
