Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an RN Executive Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a mid-sized hospice location in Montgomery, AL. You will supervise interdisciplinary teams, manage financial performance, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered care while upholding the organization’s mission and standards.

The role requires an RN license with management experience in hospice/home care; BSN/MSN are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensed with at least an ADN or higher in nursing.
• BSN preferred; MSN considered a plus.
• Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience required; hospice/home care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for a mid-sized hospice program with emphasis on clinical quality and operational performance.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting/licensing standards and safety regulations.
• Lead and develop interdisciplinary teams; oversee human resources, budgeting and office operations.
• Collaborate with Administrator and Governing Body to set goals and monitor progress.
• Maintain high levels of patient-centered care and community relations.
• Oversee contract management with outside vendors and continuous quality improvement.
