Gentiva seeks a RN Director of Nursing II to lead our hospice operations in Raleigh, NC. You will oversee clinical quality, staffing, and budget, ensuring compassionate patient care and regulatory compliance across the location.

The role requires an RN with strong leadership and hospice/home care experience, guiding interdisciplinary teams, improving performance, and upholding Gentiva’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse with minimum of Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
• Master’s degree in business, nursing or related field preferred
• Experience: Three to five years’ healthcare sales/ management experience preferred
• Experience: Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required
• Experience: Two or more years’ experience in hospice/home care required

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for a large hospice program, accountable for clinical quality, operational performance and census growth.
• Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures in collaboration with the Governing Body.
• Directs multiple teams at the assigned location and plans resources to achieve strategic goals.
• Manages financial resources with budget oversight and cost control.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and Medicare conditions of participation.
• Oversees human resources, onboarding, training and employee evaluations.
