Job summary
Crescent Hospice is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge to lead our interdisciplinary team as Clinical Director. You will supervise a dedicated group of RNs, aides, social workers, and chaplains to deliver compassionate end-of-life care in collaboration with the Program Director and Hospice Physician.
The role emphasizes leadership, team development, policy adherence, and comprehensive patient support, with a focus on growth, quality, and patient/family
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Registered Nurse with a current state license to practice in the office state.
- Minimum 3 years as a nurse, including 1 year direct hospice/home health/oncology care, plus 1 year supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage terminal care with crisis intervention, pain and symptom control, bedside nursing, and family counseling.
- Must be proficient with computers and EMR systems.
Responsibilities
- Champion Comprehensive Patient Support: oversee patient services and ensure policy alignment.
- Empowering Teams: guide a team of clinicians to enhance hospice care.
- Quality Assurance: conduct chart audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Training Excellence: develop orientation and in-service training for nursing staff.
- Performance Advancement: evaluate and coach staff during probation and annually.
