Job summary

Crescent Hospice is seeking a Registered Nurse with strong clinical knowledge and supervisory experience to lead an amazing team as Clinical Director. This role partners with the Program Director and Hospice Physician to uphold high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and program growth.

You will guide an interdisciplinary team, manage performance, and ensure compassionate, expert care for patients and families while modeling emotional intelligence and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care.
• Active RN license in the state where the office is located.
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience including 1 year in hospice/home health/oncology.
• 1 year of supervisory experience in hospice or home health preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage terminal care with crisis intervention and symptom control.
• Must have CPR certification if required by state, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Champion comprehensive patient support and oversee hospice services per program policies.
• Provide guidance to an interdisciplinary team of clinicians and staff.
• Conduct chart audits and ensure medical records comply with regulations and standards.
• Develop orientation and in-service training for nursing and clinical staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching to improve care delivery.
• Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings and foster professional collaboration.
