Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an RN to deliver patient-centered care across the care continuum. You will interact with patients and families, educate on health topics, and collaborate with the healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Shifts run 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and at least one year of RN experience, with potential relocation assistance and loan repayment benefits.

Formación

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in state
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification on hire or within six months
  • One year of RN experience or two years of LPN in same department

Responsabilidades

  • Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
  • Assess patients, document findings and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
  • Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
  • Administer treatments and medications.
  • Establish care plans with patients, families and care team.
  • Coordinate ongoing care and discharge planning.
  • Evaluate and maintain standards of care.
  • Educate patients and families.
  • Cover other nursing roles in department

A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in various healthcare settings.
  • Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings.
  • Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
  • Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
  • Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team.
  • Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning.
  • Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care.
  • Educate patients and families.
  • Cover other nursing roles in the department.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN program)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or ALS through the American Red Cross upon hire or within six months of hire
  • One year of recent experience as an RN
  • OR licensed RN with at least two years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
  • BSN
  • Two years of recent experience as an RN
  • For Cardiac Catheterization or other related procedural areas, one year of critical care experience in a hospital setting
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
  • Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
  • Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $35.50

Maximum hourly: $55.60

The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
