Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking an RN to deliver nursing care in the Cardiology department, interacting with patients and families to enhance their experience. The role includes assessments, care plans, discharge coordination, and education, supporting a patient-centered journey in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The position is part-time, day shift, with pay between $36–$56 per hour. Required RN licensure, ADN/BSN, BLS, and ACLS within six months of hire are noted, with relocation

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
• One year of recent RN experience required; OR licensed RN with at least two years of LPN experience within the same Cleveland Clinic procedural department.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services.
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, and document findings.
• Notify physicians of abnormal findings.
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations.
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications.
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs, and facilitate discharge planning.
• Evaluate, initiate, and maintain standards of care.
• Educate patients and families.
• Cover other nursing roles in the department.
