Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Ohio is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and adult patients. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care delivered in the home.

Responsibilities include delivering skilled nursing services per orders, monitoring changes in patient conditions, collecting and interpreting data, and documenting nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
