Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to deliver in-home nursing care for pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes. The role emphasizes thorough assessment, plan development, and documentation of patient care under prescribed orders.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN license in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray as required.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
