About Corewell Health South – Lakeland Hospitals

The health system includes three hospitals, outpatient surgery and cancer centers, rehabilitation centers, long-term care residences, home care, hospice services, and 34 physician practice locations, providing inpatient and outpatient services across Southwest Michigan.

Scope of Work

The RN utilizes the nursing process to provide professional care, incorporating patient-family centered principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, the RN delivers quality care, partners with patients and families, and documents education and care plans appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• BSN within 5 years
• State of MI RN license
• State of MI Driver’s License
• AHA or ARC BLS certification within 90 days
• At least 1 year of experience in acute, emergency, or rehab settings
• Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools need additional experience and must have passed the NCLEX exam

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
