Job description

Salary: $27 - $32 / per hour

Maxim Healthcare in Greeneville is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
  • Initiate the plan of care when directed and request necessary revisions from the prescriber as patient status and needs change.
  • Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
  • Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to the appropriate physician or supervisor.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor and document the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Review the plan of care and program protocols, and identify areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning as applicable.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
  • Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
  • Current BLS card.
