Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments effectively and efficiently under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Position Details

RN, Peds, Catheter

Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (School)

Salary: $28 - $32/hr

Responsibilities

1. Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
2. Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
3. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data from healthcare team members and documents nursing diagnoses.
4. Documents the patient's plan of care, including diagnoses, expected outcomes, and interventions.
5. Performs interventions according to priorities, plan of care, policies, and outcome standards.
6. Revises the plan of care based on evaluations and changes in the medical plan.
7. Uses clinical judgment to establish priorities and meet patient care needs.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

1. Current RN license for the practicing state.
2. Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
3. Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
4. Current BLS certification.
5. One year of RN experience preferred.
