Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center (NARMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide intermittent skilled nursing in the home across Harrison, AR. This part-time Home Health (Field) position includes benefits, day shift, and on-call rotation as scheduled.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, IV/med administration, wound care, and coordinate with the care team. Ideal candidates have an Arkansas RN license, associates degree, BLS, and 1+ year hospital or SNF

Qualifications

  • Arkansas RN license (or compact).
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing; BLS.
  • 1+ year hospital/SNF/related experience; reliable transportation and valid Arkansas driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; strong assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform multi-system assessment/reassessment; identify changes and intervene per orders.
  • Educate patients/families; plan safe discharges/transfers; coordinate across disciplines and care conferences.
  • Start/maintain IV therapy (venipuncture, IVPB, IV push) and medications per policy; manage enteral feeding care.
  • Provide sterile wound care; effective pain management; respond appropriately in emergencies.
  • Supervise/delegate to LPNs and HHAs; complete accurate, timely documentation; participate in on-call rotation.

Job Summary

Provide intermittent skilled nursing in the home: comprehensive assessment, care planning/updates, education, IV/med administration per policy, wound care (sterile technique), and coordination with the care team; complete timely admissions, documentation, and on-call rotation as scheduled.

Job Qualifications
Required

Compensation & Schedule
  • Status: Full-time (PRN/part-time may be considered)
  • Schedule: Days with rotating on-call/weekend coverage
  • Pay: Competitive base pay with mileage per policy (details during interview)
