Job summary

Mission Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Branch Director / Administrator (RN) to lead and oversee operations for our home health and hospice services. The role combines clinical leadership with strategic management to ensure compliant, high‑quality patient care across the organization.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license, demonstrate strong staff supervision, and have experience in marketing, budgeting and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional, administrative and clinical personnel.
• Ability to market aggressively and deal tactfully with the community.
• Knowledge of corporate business management.
• Demonstrates good communications and public relations skills.
• Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and CHAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Planning, directing and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
• Complying with applicable law and regulation.
• Fiscal planning, budgeting and management of operations in accordance with fiscal parameters.
• Implementing governing body directives and ensuring that appropriate service policies are developed and implemented.
• Recruiting, employing and retaining qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication.
• Ensuring staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education, and evaluation of staff.
• Assuring that skilled nursing and other therapeutic services furnished are under the supervision and direction of a physician, or a registered clinician.
• Appointing a similarly qualified alternate to always be available during operating hours in the absence of the administrator.
