Job summary

Duke University Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. The RN will provide and supervise total nursing care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in a high-acuity antenatal and high-risk postpartum unit.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, full-time position with emphasis on patient-centered care and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical nursing experience required.
• Current RN licensure in North Carolina; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise total nursing care to patients.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support high-acuity maternal/newborn care.
