Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital, part of Duke University Health System, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Mother/Baby Unit on the night shift. The RN will provide and supervise total nursing care for obstetric and gynecological patients, ensuring a patient-centered, high-quality birth experience.

The role requires 1+ years of clinical nursing experience and a BSN (or higher); ADN or Diploma holders must enroll in BSN within two years.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of clinical nursing experience required.
• BSN or higher degree required; ADN or Diploma acceptable with enrollment in BSN within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Participate in the clinical ladder program, educational activities, and nursing committees or research projects.
