Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy hospital setting. You will collaborate with the care team to provide personalized services, document thoroughly, and advocate for patients and families to ensure positive clinical outcomes.

You will assess patients at admission and during shifts, administer medications, and respond promptly to requests.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN (Registered Nurse)

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient response, and document care in the medical record
• Provide exceptional care by promptly addressing patient requests and anticipating needs
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications, and follow-up, translating medical terminology as needed
