Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the department. In collaboration with medical providers, you will apply nursing models to assess, treat, teach, and manage patient needs while advocating for patients and families to support an exceptional experience and outcomes.

You will complete required certifications within 30 days of start date and participate in comprehensive benefits programs.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, and data entry as ordered by medical providers; document in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and provide compassionate care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures.
• Support self-management and healthy lifestyle recommendations for patients and families.
