Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the night shift in Illinois. You will use the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality while adhering to Mercy Service Standards.

Education and licensure include an ADN/ Diploma/ BSN and an active RN license; essential certifications include ACLS, NRP, PALS, ENPC, TNCC, C-EFM, and specialty credentials as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
• Certifications: ACLS, NRP, PALS, PEARS, ENPC, TNCC, OCN, CPHON, STABLE, C-EFM, and other unit-specific as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
