Job summary

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered Registered Nurse for the night shift. You will utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, coordinate with other departments, and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree and an active RN license. A range of advanced certifications is preferred to support unit-specific care needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, PEARS, ENPC, TNCC, OCN, CPHON, STABLE, C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
