Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a Health Services Administrator (RN) at the Kent County Detention Center in Grand Rapids, MI. This on-site leadership role oversees the health services department and contract compliance while recruiting personnel and managing the site budget.

The HSA will develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and staff, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery and customer satisfaction in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse licensed to practice.
Minimum of two years of healthcare management experience.
Experience in correctional healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages the healthcare delivery system within the facility.
Oversees budget and financial performance; submits reports.
Directs staff activities and recruitment; conducts evaluations.
Coordinates with external providers and hospitals as needed.
Ensures compliance with ACA/NCCHC standards and client contracts.
Leads safety and security policy adherence and drills.
Interfaces with HR for hiring and terminations of staff.
