Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies seeks a Health Services Administrator (HSA) who will serve as the chief administrator of the on-site health services department at the El Paso County Jail in Colorado Springs. You will ensure contract services delivery and compliance with client agreements while recruiting staff and managing the site budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration/related field.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance.
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the healthcare delivery system and coordinates with facility functions.
• Oversees site budget and financial reporting to supervisor and corporate office.
• Develops and supervises the facility operational plan.
• Directs assigned staff and actively recruits new staff.
• Coordinates interview processes and liaises with VitalCore HR for hiring/terminations.
• Ensures orientation and training for new VitalCore personnel.
• Ensures compliance with VitalCore and client systems and safety procedures.
