Job summary

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS) in New Castle, Delaware seeks a Health Services Administrator / Nurse Manager to lead on-site health services, ensure contract compliance, recruit and hire personnel, and supervise operations. The role emphasizes coordinating with administrators and nursing leaders to maintain high-quality care in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or another related field.
• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance.
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the healthcare delivery system and coordinates with other facility functions.
• Manages the site budget and financial performance; submits reports to supervisor/colicy office.
• Develops and supervises the facility operational plan.
• Directs assigned staff and actively recruits new staff.
• Coordinates interviewing and selection of staff and contractors.
• Ensures orientation and training of new VitalCore personnel.
• Ensures compliance with VitalCore and client policies and safety procedures.
• Attends training and meetings as required.
