Job summary

Aperion Care in Illinois is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, administering medications, and maintaining confidentiality in line with regulations.

The role requires RN licensure, knowledge of nursing practices and strong communication. CPR/First Aid certifications are required, with room to grow within the facility and support from care teams.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws and regulations.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise CNAs.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
• Maintain documentation and patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Respond to changes in resident needs.
