Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus in Cleveland invites you to join the General OR team, a dynamic surgical environment supporting GI, Colon, Oncology, Bariatric and Endocrine procedures. You will assist fellow caregivers from pre‑op to recovery, interact with patients and families, provide education as needed, and collaborate closely with the surgical team.

Whether an experienced RN or a new graduate, you will participate in orientation; shifts are assigned after orientation, Monday–Friday

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• One year of RN experience or completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
• Perform scrub and circulating functions.
• Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
