Cleveland Clinic’s General OR team is a dynamic surgical environment that includes GI, Colon, Oncology, Bariatric and Endocrine procedures. Surgeries range from 2 to 12 hours, including complex cases such as colon and intestinal procedures, transplants, Whipple surgeries and oncology interventions. Working in the OR offers a focused, structured approach to patient care, strong teamwork and clearly defined roles, with limited patient contact while patients are under anesthesia.
As an integral member of the surgical team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care from pre‑op to recovery, interact with patients and families to enhance their experience and provide education as needed.
Whether you are an experienced RN or a new graduate, all nurses entering an OR specialty unit participate in a comprehensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the surgical environment. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the surgical team to deliver exceptional patient care, from the initial introduction to the final send‑off.
A caregiver in this position will have their shifts assigned after orientation. Orientation is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm and is 6 months long.

Maximum hourly: $55.60
