Qualifications

• Valid RN license required
• Associate's degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency in EKG and patient assessment
• Excellent communication with patients and families
• Strong ability to document accurately and work in a team

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective patient care and communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Monitor and adjust care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise care delivery by nursing staff and other team members.
• Engage in performance improvement and continued professional development.
• Respond to code situations promptly and effectively.
