Job summary

AdventHealth Kissimmee is hiring an Registered Nurse for the Night shift (7 PM – 7 AM) in a full‑time role. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, Florida RN license, ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Ability to work as a team player within a unit.
• Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• EKG competency as required by unit protocols.
• Fluency in English (read, verbal, written).
• Basic computer skills to navigate Windows programs.
• Ability to assess patients and adjust plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to optimize patient care.
