Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time Day shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

You will document thoroughly, monitor interventions, and participate in performance improvement. Florida RN license and BLS are required; Acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Florida RN license required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure safe, effective patient care and documentation.
• Maintain accurate charting and monitor patient outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Respond to codes promptly and participate in performance improvement activities.
