Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our community-based hospital team, providing high-quality care across acute settings. This full-time role offers opportunities for professional growth and meaningful patient impact.

You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• RN license required (Active)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred
• Fluency in English (read, write, speak)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
