Job summary

Veritas Management Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide direct, resident-centered nursing care in a SNF/Post-Acute setting. On-the-job training and opportunities for career growth are offered.

You will administer medications, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and support admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to make independent decisions and strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and long-term care regulations.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude, especially with elderly and diverse populations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct, resident-centered nursing care.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
• Monitoring resident health, documenting observations, and responding to changes in condition.
• Educating residents and families on care plans.
• Ensuring rooms are ready for new admissions and participating in orientation.
