Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Tennessee is seeking an ER Nurse to provide direct nursing care in the emergency department under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and nursing supervisor.

You will deliver care aligned with patient needs across age groups, participate in planning and evaluation of the care plan, and demonstrate flexibility and teamwork with physicians, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Two years of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS required. If not ACLS and PALS certified on hire, must acquire within 30 days.
• Free-Standing Emergency Room Experience preferred

The ER Nurse, under supervision of the Nurse Manager and the nursing supervisor is responsible for the nursing care of the patients in the emergency department and is responsible for the direction of patient care. The RN delivers care based on patient needs appropriate for the infant, pediatric, adolescent, adults, and geriatric patients. He/she demonstrates an interest in patient centered approach to total nursing care. Demonstrates cooperation, flexibility, and resourcefulness when dealing with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. The RN shall be responsible for planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies.

Position Qualifications:
