Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Observation unit. The 12-bed unit handles acute patients with stays under 36 hours, offering cross-training to the Clinical Decision Unit after six months.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state where you practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
