Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team. The ideal candidate provides direct nursing care, performs assessments, develops and updates care plans, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team across units.

Requirements include an active RN license (IL), ACLS within 1 year, BLS within 30 days, and an Associate degree or higher. Two years of inpatient RN experience is required, with the ability to float to multiple units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care and collaborates with multidisciplinary team
• Performs assessments and documents nursing diagnoses, plans, interventions, and evaluations
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops plan of care
• Implements and monitors plan of care across units
• Floats to Medical/Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, ICU units as needed
• Precepts staff and coordinates care with other team members
