Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse for inpatient units. The role requires at least 2 years of inpatient RN experience and an active Illinois RN license. Qualifications

• Must have 2 years of inpatient RN experience.
• Current Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) per IDFPR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care to support the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessment and develops care plans based on needs.
• Implements and evaluates the plan of care with nursing interventions.
• Communicates with team to resolve issues and ensure safety.
• Provides feedback for colleagues' professional development.
• Floats to various inpatient units including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs.
• Provides direct nursing care and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
