• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois per IDFPR.
• ACLS certification within 1 year (AHA).
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• 2 years RN inpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care for the healthcare team.
• Completes initial patient assessments and develops care plans.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Modifies plan of care to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Communicates with team to resolve issues and provide feedback.
• Mentors staff and coordinates care with multidiscipline team members.
• Precepts staff as needed.
• Floats to various inpatient units as needed.
