Job summary

Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Float Pool RN for weekend shifts (36 hours per week, days). You will provide direct patient care across ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, medical-surgical units and Acute Rehab, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating with other departments.

This role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license in Missouri (or compact state) plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure for where duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care across assigned units while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Float to units based on experience (ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, Med-Surg, Acute Rehab) and support Mercy standards.
