Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Float Pool RN for weekend option at Mercy Jefferson in Festus, MO. Work 36 hours per week during day shifts, floating to ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, and Med-Surg units as experience allows.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure. BLS certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and functions within Mercy Health System.
• Uphold the Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards while delivering care.
