Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Jefferson Avenue Medical Office Building float pool. The role involves evaluating patient needs, planning and delivering care, and collaborating with managers across markets. You may float to various departments and sites as staffing requires, ensuring safety and quality of care.

Requirements include an active nursing license in the state, BLS, ACLS/PALS as needed, and 1 year of acute care RN experience. EPIC EHR proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current nursing license in the designated state of employment.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS as per specialty.
• 1 year RN experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Float to multiple departments and sites to provide patient care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care per standards.
• Coordinate care and document appropriately in patient records.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice.
