Job summary

AdventHealth in Columbus, NC is seeking an experienced registered nurse for full-time night shift. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans with the team, administer medications, and support physicians with bedside procedures.

Qualifications

Associate's nursing degree required.
BLS and RN licensure required.
Fluent in English (read, verbal and written). [Required]
Proficient in clinical nursing skills and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

Perform and document accurate initial and ongoing assessments.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
Administer medications accurately and monitor responses.
Supervise nursing personnel and ensure safe patient care.
Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
Assist physicians with bedside procedures and tests.
Monitor labs and report abnormal results.
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support.
