HCA Florida Blake Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Float Pool in Bradenton, FL. You will provide nursing care across Med/Surg and telemetry units, ensuring high-quality, efficient patient care and seamless unit coverage.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (or compact license with active FL RN within 60 days), an ASN or Diploma (BSN preferred), and BLS/ACLS/NHISSS certifications. Prior acute care experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required or compact licensure with active FL RN within 60 days
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• ACLS cert required (6-month grace period)
• BLS cert required
• NIHSS cert required (6-month grace period)
• Acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care patients
• Instruct patients and families on medications and treatment instructions
• Maintain and review patient records including tests and results
• Administer medications per physician orders
