Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center, part of Advocate Health, is seeking an RN for the Internal Float Pool (Level 1) in Wisconsin. You will work across Med/Surg and related units, gaining exposure to different specialties and patient populations.

The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and flexibility in a fast-paced hospital setting. The position features 36 hours per week with 6-week self-scheduling from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other weekend, and limited holiday rotations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• Experience: Minimum 1-year acute care RN experience (2 years strongly preferred).
• Commitment to ongoing learning, adaptability, and teamwork across multiple care environments.
• Preferred: BSN

Responsibilities

• Work in various units within one facility as part of the Internal Float Pool Level 1.
• Cross-train in ICU, ER or Women's Health and provide versatile patient care.
